Harvester is the Most Violent Game Ever Made

I was recently introduced to a video game called Harvester from YouTube. I ended up watching the entire walkthrough, because I could not get over how violent this game was. I have seen plenty of horror or action video games in my time, but this one takes the cake for being the most violent one ever made. 

The story follows a dude named Steve, who wakes up in his hometown with no memory. He freaks out with the strangeness of the entire town, including the violent actions the majority of the residents commit. Even his own family is insane!

I'm not kidding when I say this, if you step outside of your house, you run into a kid who is asking for shoes. If you refuse to get him a pair of shoes, he will pull out a gun and shoot your character dead. 

Yeah. It's one of those super random games that will always catch you off guard. 

It was so interesting to watch the behind the scenes of the production team. How they got away with making such a violent story is impressive. It makes me wonder if they had to go through a huge approval process before their game could be launched. I know that it did receive some criticism, but the story is honestly pretty good. And freaking weird. 

You can't help but continue playing, to reach the insane conclusion that really caught me off guard. The team behind this project set out to send out a message to the player, and I think they definitely succeeded. 

They shocked you throughout the entire game, only to hit you with an ending note that makes you wonder.
