The Quarantine Book Series is a Brutal Modern Version of Lord of the Flies

Image
Credit to  Attack of the Fandoms: Top Ten Book Series | Cover Too Cover I have read the Quarantine book series about three times during my life, and I think it's the craziest book series ever written for young adults. What would happen if an infection spread throughout the world, and only infected children? What if this infection was toxic to adults, instantly killing them, leaving behind children who have no parental or adult guidance in this awful environment? What if a high school was left to fend for themselves, the adults are all dead inside, leaving the kids to figure out how to survive on their own? This book series pretty much covers all kinds of topics when it comes to survival horror.  We follow the story of two brothers who start going to their high school, only to be stuck permanently in school forever, with a bunch of kids who are terrified. Since these kids are still just kids, they handle their new world with an immature mentality. The kids start their ow...

I'm Excited to Play Resident Evil Requiem

Image
Credit to  Resident Evil Requiem Review Resident Evil Requiem has been getting so much hype lately, and I am now convinced to go ahead and purchase this game. I don't normally ever buy a game upon launch, but claims like being known as the best Resident Evil game ever made is telling me I shouldn't wait to purchase this game.  Another reason why I'm tempted to get the game in time for spring break, is because I heard that the horror aspect in this game works so damn well. Including two different points of view for the game is genius, because we are literally playing from the point of view of an inexperienced survivor, and someone who already knows how to deal with zombie invasions.  I know that after I'm done playing this game, I'm going to 100% talk about the two points of views for my review. I know that the other Resident Evil remakes did this kind of gameplay, but Requiem is doing their own thing with the survival horror part, and I can't wait to play the ...

Resident Evil 3 Remake is the Most Disgusting Video Game in the Franchise

Image
Credit to  Resident Evil 3 (Video Game 2020) - IMDb Resident Evil 3 was an entertaining adventure game that I felt was way too short. I beat the game in about 3 days, and I feel that the game could have been ten times longer. At least the game gave me an exciting playthrough that I will never forget. I forgot how many times I got anxiety from trying to get the hell away from Nemesis, a giant zombie that was determined to kill me. And he definitely achieved that several times, because when I go into panic mode, it's easy to kill me in videogames.  Another part of the game that I struggled to get through was the disgusting parts. And what I mean by that is the use of bugs and giant fish.  Once the spider nest was introduced in the game, my heart stopped. I couldn't stand how Jill was attacked by one of the spiders, as it shoved an egg down her throat. I struggled to watch that scene, it felt so violating, and I'm sure that was what the developers were going for. I ha...

5 Darkest Disney Villain Deaths

Image
Credit to Top 10 Terrifying Deaths in Disney Movies | Articles on WatchMojo.com To this day, it surprises me how Disney doesn’t give a damn about showing off such violent deaths for their villains. I wouldn’t doubt some of these deaths traumatized a lot of children over the years, but I think that it’s ballsy that Disney was willing to animate disturbing endings for their main villains.  They really wanted to show what happens to assholes who crave power or want to hurt others, and the consequences of their actions can be quite deadly. I have seen so many Disney movies, and I have selected five of my own that I think are the worst deaths.  I’m also going to explain what evil actions led to their deaths, to sort of say, that yes, they 100% deserved what was coming to them! 5. Mother Gothel becomes old and falls off a tower. (Tangled) Credit to Tangled (2010) Mother Gothel’s Defeat Mother Gothel is one of the most despicable villains in Disney. She never wanted to grow ol...

Twin Peaks: Lonely Souls is the Best Episode of the Series

Image
Credit to “Twin Peaks” Lonely Souls (TV Episode 1990) — IMDb Twin Peaks has been a fantastic show, but episode 7 from season 2 is hands down the best episode of the entire series so far. So many pieces of the puzzle are finally coming together for Laura Palmer’s murder, but the last thing we see before the episode ends was a shocking reveal that left me feeling disturbed and scared.  Dale Cooper and his new allies from the Twin Peaks sheriff department are able to get new evidence for the death of Laura Palmer. Through the help of Donna and Madeline, Laura’s cousin, they are able to get a secret diary of Laura’s, that was in the possession of a strange man named Harold Smith.  His death was a bit mixed for me, because even though I did find his character interesting, there was important information in that diary that should have been given to the authorities ahead of the investigation. One name that had been mentioned in the diary was Benjamin Horne, the father of Audre...

Donna from Twin Peaks Has Become the Most Annoying Character on the Show

Image
Credit to  Costuming Peaks - Donna Hayward in the Twin Peaks Pilot | TWIN PEAKS BLOG I loved Donna in the first season, but her character in season 2 is now becoming so irritating to watch. I don't mind her insistence on wanting to know who killed Laura, because Laura was her best friend after all, but the stupid love triangle she is involved in is ruining her character for me.  James and Donna were so cute in the first season, and once Madeline, Laura's cousin who looks just like was introduced to the show, I feel that Donna has lost her mind. I get why she is jealous, but the way she is trying to show off her dominance to James has been getting to me during season 2. She has been noticing the closeness between James and Madeline, and it's obvious that James was going to fall for Madeline, since he literally used to date Laura before her death.  Donna is aware of this, and I assumed her character would eventually accept this and move on, but the way she is acting ...

Is There a Way to Avoid Getting a Copyright Strike for Your YouTube Videos?

Image
Credit to YouTube’s New Copyright Transparency Report Leaves a Lot Out | Electronic Frontier Foundation I have uploaded quite a few times this week on YouTube, and I have gotten about two copyright strikes so far. My video wasn’t threatened with getting taken down, but if I had already been monetized, there could have been a chance that those two copyright strikes could have affected me somehow.  I want to find a way how to avoid getting a copyright strike for my channel.  The reason that I got two copyright strikes for two of my YouTube videos, was because I used footage from two horror movies.  Screenshot of my videos that got copyright strikes. From the video based on the Thing, I got a copyright strike for using actual footage from the movie, because I had purchased the film through YouTube. I had recorded several scenes from the film to use as a sort of analysis format, since I was talking about my personal theories as to what happened to one of the main chara...
