Credit to  The Conspiracy (2012) | Anna Gibbs — Film Critic (annawoods.co.uk) We all know about those crazy conspiracy theorists that exist out there in the world. Who claim that a huge mystery is all around us, we are just too blind and unaware to notice this strange phenomenon. The Conspiracy is a film that focuses on the journey of two men who decide to embark on a journey of discovering the truth, who end up receiving a far worse fate than they anticipated. The story follows two men who create documentaries, named Jim and Aaron. They appear to get along great, having fun with their project of interviewing a crazy conspiracy theorist named Terrance. Unfortunately, both men are then pulled into a terrifying mystery when Terrance suddenly vanishes into thin air. Aaron and Jim discover a secret society known as the Tarsus Club. Should Hoard Be Considered a Horror Movie?

Image
Credit to Hoard (2023) — IMDb I have recently watched the movie Hoard , that was finally released online for me to purchase and check out. After watching this film, I’m curious if maybe we could consider it as a horror film. Maybe it’s more along the lines of a psychological horror, that follows the story of a girl named Maria. In the beginning of the film, we see how her childhood was like. It wasn’t exactly perfect. Her school life sucks, she lives in a hoarding home, and she unfortunately has to deal with other terrifying dangers outside of her home at a young age. Luckily, her mother’s love is what keeps her happy with her life. Until one of the hoard piles in her home collapses on top of her mother. Maria is then taken away to live in a foster home, where she is adopted and grows up. Maria is now 18 years old and is now happy from the looks of it. She has a best friend, she is a free spirit, and she is loved by the woman that took her into her home. But sometimes all good th...

Nosferatu is a Brilliant Gothic Horror Story of Love and Terror

Image
I watched Nosferatu on New Year’s Day in 2024. I did not expect to be mesmerized by the story, the visuals, and the characters. The vampire… gave me a different kind of feeling. Whenever that creepy bastard was on screen, my body was completely tensed up. I couldn’t stand his presence… because he honestly scared the shit out of me. That voice that was given to his character made it so much worse for me… hell no. I’m jumping into the lake or accepting any other kind of death to avoid getting killed by that thing. Before I begin to delve into my horror review, there is one thing I want to discuss before we begin. I cannot believe that Bill Skarsgard played the vampire. I was beyond impressed, and I have to say, that it’s now my favorite performance by the actor. I love how he takes on roles of monsters in horror, and he is amazing at tackling all of these terrifying creatures. I had to research how he did the voice of the vampire, and I was shocked to learn that he took part ...
