I'm Hoping Fantastic Four: First Steps Will Have a Bad Ending

I haven't been excited for a Marvel movie like this since Deadpool & Wolverine last year. It's a huge shame that Marvel has experienced a huge downfall for such a long time, but it looks like things are going to be picking up with the newest entry: Fantastic Four: First Steps.
After watching a trailer of the Fantastic Four, and learning about the main villain they are going to battle…I'm now hoping this movie will give us fans a bad ending.
I know nothing much about the comics with these heroes, but I don't think they will be able to stand a chance defending Earth against this villain, who is known for consuming planets to survive. This villain is known as Galactus, a powerful cosmic being that is impossible to defeat.
I'm predicting that the Fantastic Four are going to lose against Galactus.
The one thing that I love about the trailers that have been released, is how the team go from happy to concern. It's like a form of dread has settled over the team, as Reed Richards tells their people that Earth is safe. It's like Reed is unsure of his own answer to Earth, making me wonder how terrified the team is about their situation.
It's been so long since I have seen superheroes scared.
The last time I saw something like this was Marvel's Infinity War. That movie was peak cinema when it came to the heroes finally losing in a huge war, and I'm starting to wonder if the film will dare to go down this dark route.
I'm predicting that the Fantastic Four is somehow going to lose their planet. They will have no choice to abandon their own world, to save themselves. I highly doubt that they are going to win against a dude that is able to consume entire planets.
Again, I haven't read the comics, but from what I have seen, I don't think either of them are capable of taking on an insane threat like this:
Johnny Storm can produce flames within his body and fly, but how can fire from one dude take on a gigantic cosmic being?
Sue Storm can become invisible. How will that help?
Reed Richards can stretch his body. That's cool, but how will that help against a threat like that? Maybe he could stretch his body to trip the dude when he arrives on Earth, but I don't think Galactus would fall for something that stupid.
The Thing has super strength, my guess? I think he would have a chance, but he could only do so much like Johnny Storm.
I'm not trying to diss these heroes in any way, but I would rather have the original Avengers try to save my own ass if I was stuck on Earth, knowing that a guy from space is going to eat me along with the rest of the world.
If the Fantastic Four were my only heroes on the planet, I would already be accepting my death lol.
Another reason why I think that the heroes are going to lose, is the major themes of family I have been receiving from the trailers.
I think the director purposely gave the Fantastic Four a lot of family moments from what I have seen in the trailers. They seem like a powerful unit that cannot be broken, but I think these family themes could be a foreshadow to them breaking apart.
Will they suddenly have a huge disagreement over something horrible that is about to happen?
Like say…if the planet were to get destroyed by Galactus?
Will some of the heroes want to stay and fight, or will some of them want to run to save their own lives?
I'm really hoping to see something like this, it would really hit home for the audiences, because sometimes family will fight among themselves. I can't imagine making a horrible decision like that to abandon your own planet to save yourself.
Imagine the guilt each of them will be feeling towards each other and themselves when they realize the difficult decision they had to make.
These are all just my own theories and thoughts on what I think will happen in this movie, so I guess we shall see what kind of film we are going to get. I have hope that this film is going to be great. From the 1960s retro vibe I'm getting from the trailers, I think we are going to get something special. The CGI ain't too bad either, it looks pretty good in my opinion!
What kind of ending are you Marvel fans hoping for?
