5 Horror Movie Franchises with Amazing Sequels

 


It has always been a thing for horror franchises to create a better story in the sequel. It’s always over the top in the best way, and the sequels are always the ones that become well known among horror fans.

There are a lot of horror sequels to choose from this list. I am planning to create more articles like this in the future, because of lot of horror sequels deserve a lot of credit!

Here are five horror sequels that I love!

5. Terrifier 2



Terrifier 2 goes above and beyond after the first film that was released in 2016. We now follow the story of Art the Clown’s final girl named Sienna, who battles the killer clown in a gory battle royale.

After the murders of her friends and a family member, Sienna is determined to take Art down. What we get is an introduction of supernatural lore and a total bloodbath!

It’s a perfect sequel, and wow, is it totally action-packed!

4. Evil Dead 2



The sequel to Evil Dead will always remain one of my favorite horror sequels of all time. For me, the sequel is everything that I want.

Horror and comedy are blended quite nicely, creating a masterpiece of demonic terror. This sequel also features one of the best final boys in horror, Ash Williams.

I do love a horror survivor that uses a chainsaw and a shotgun to take down demons, and it is so fun to watch!

3. Aliens



I love this sequel to death. How the director and the crew were able to pull off a shitload of amazing practical effects through aliens vs. humans is a load of incredible entertainment.

Aliens is a great action - packed adventure that will delight and scare the shit out of you. The aliens are deadly as hell, and watching the characters bite the dust against these creatures is brutal!

And that final act of the film is one of my absolute favorites in horror sequel history!

2. Final Destination 2

I had seen Final Destination 2 when I was a kid.

I did watch the first film when I was a kid too, but the sequel was what never left the back of my mind. That intro of the cop getting a log smashed through his windshield and popping out of the back of his vehicle stayed with me for years.

And I love how Death shows no mercy to anyone in this movie, and I was so impressed with the sequel having the balls to kill a kid onscreen.

I also got really traumatized by the elevator death scene. That scene honestly scared the shit out of me when I was a kid!

1. Hellbound: Hellraiser 2



The sequel to Hellraiser is one of a kind. We get a fantasy/horror adventure that is filled to the brim with gore and fantastic practical effects. We follow the story of Kristy, a young woman who is the only survivor of the Cenobites from the first film.

After losing her father to her uncle that was once a prisoner of the Cenobites, she finds herself back into the dark world of Pinhead, where she is pulled into another world where the Cenobites reside.

Kristy works together with a young girl to escape from the Cenobites in this strange labyrinth, while she is being hunted by three types of villains that want her dead.

Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 is a wonderful horror film that I will always love!

The Final Season of 'You' Ends on a Powerful Note

People have always been mixed on what they think of this show, but I have always loved the insanity of this crazy serial killer.  Joe Goldberg is such a complex character who thrives on the power of love and is willing to do whatever it takes for the next woman he falls for.  He never hesitates to murder anyone, including his love interest. If she stops loving him, he will not hesitate to murder her. That is the main reason why Joe is freaking scary. He will be your knight in shining armor, but once that image of love is taken from him, he will show his true nature.  I loved how the final season focused on Joe’s evil self. Horror Movie Trailers Are Starting to Piss Me Off Again

  Credit to Rotten Tomatoes  I went to the movies last night to go watch the film,  Babygirl . The movie surprised me in many ways, and I was left speechless multiple times. Like what the heck did I just watch?? Before the movie began, like in any theater, I was watching several trailers. I watched three horror movie trailers that caught my attention: 1. Companion is going to be released on January 31st.  Credit to Bloody Disgusting Even though I now have an idea what the movie is going to be about, not enough was shown for me to fully understand just what the hell was going on.  I won’t spoil anything here, because I know that this film is going to be a complete surprise to everyone.
