5 Horror Movies with Insane Gore
I have seen a lot of horror films that have freaked me out when it came to how violent and gory each of the deaths were throughout the entire movie. It's admirable that filmmakers always deliver amazing practical effects to audiences, to give us horror fans a bloodbath we will never forget!
I have so many favorite horror films out there, but I have decided to focus on five horror films that deserve credit for impressing me with the crazy gory moments that took place!
Here are five horror films that contain a lot of gore and death!
5. Day of the Dead
The detail and practical effects are amazing, it really looks like these people are really getting eaten alive, and listening to their screams of pain and hysteria is tough to get through.
Like damn...these soldiers were jerks and definitely deserved to die, but wow, did they suffer!
4. High Tension
High Tension did receive a lot of mixed reviews, but despite the crazy twist at the end, (in my opinion, I really liked it), I'm sure that everyone can agree that the gore was pretty damn sick.
Each death in this movie is really hard to watch. We witness an entire family get murdered, we see random people get killed by a mysterious killer that is hunting the two main characters. It's so damn sick, and wow, does the gore not hold back!
For me, that ending did make the film so much better, because the disturbing level went from 75% to 100%. So yeah, I thought the ending worked pretty well for the movie!
3. The Sadness

I don't plan to ever watch this movie again. The disturbing aspect was freaking sick, and the gore made it so much worse. The story focuses on an outbreak that forces people to commit the most horrific acts against their victims.
I would not recommend this movie to anyone, because this movie is not for the faint-hearted. I had to look away from the screen so many times, because I couldn't believe what I was watching. This film does not give a damn, and the director had a lot of balls to create such a dark film.
The gore and the misery occurs throughout the entire film, creating an atmosphere that I immediately had to escape from, after I was done watching the movie. I had to go for a walk outside to calm my heart, because the movie really did mess my with my head!
2. Raw
Raw is another horror film that broke me. I can handle cannibalism in horror movies, but this one felt...way too real. I would normally eat snacks during horror movies, but I got so sick, I had to stop eating my Hot Cheetos, because I started thinking they were human fingers.
I'm not kidding when I say this.
I can't believe I even finished this movie...and man...that ending made me feel so sick.
1. Terrifier 2

Art the Clown has now become a horror icon after three films. That is an amazing achievement, this bastard definitely deserves to be placed in the top ten best horror slashers ever. This clown bastard does not show any shred of mercy.
He will kill you in any way that he chooses, and he has the ability to keep you alive for as long as he wants. The gore in these films is next level, and I think these are the first kills where I was impressed and disgusted, but I couldn't look away.
I guess I was so blown away by the practical effects with the gore. It is awesome to see a modern horror franchise like this, gain a lot of love by horror fans. The sequel is my favorite so far in the trilogy; because Art goes on a huge killing spree.
I'm sure this film is going to gain a huge cult status over the years!
I'm planning to write more articles like this in the future! Stay tuned for more horror stuff like this!
