Grief is the Thing With Feathers is Benedict Cumberbatch's First Horror Movie

Credit to ‘The Thing With Feathers’ Review: Benedict Cumberbatch in Grief Drama

I’m thrilled to finally announce that Benedict Cumberbatch is appearing in his first horror movie role. I always felt that Cumberbatch is an incredible actor, and I think it’s awesome to see him juggling all kinds of roles in his career.

I’m so mad he hasn’t won an Oscar yet; this dude is so damn talented.

Grief is the Thing with Feathers follows the story of a father who is grieving after the death of his wife. He is now a single father raising two children, but I think his grief leads to his downfall of experiencing terrifying hallucinations as he tries to process the death of his wife.

This story already sounds like it’s going to be a fantastic psychological horror film. Even though I keep hearing mixed reactions about this movie, I’m looking forward to watching Cumberbatch in his first horror movie.

How are you guys feeling about this development?

I am planning to write a full review on this movie once it comes out. This movie is going to be released sometime this year, I can't wait to check it out!
