How Does John Kramer Afford to Create His Traps in the Saw Franchise?

This has always been a mind-boggling question I have had for years when it comes to John Kramer’s intelligent mind. I know that this guy is a genius when it comes to creating these dangerous traps, but how the hell is he able to afford these things?

Where does he find all of the parts to these designs?

There is no way in hell that he finds everything in a junkyard, right?

Or does he travel the world on his spare time, looking for parts for new traps?

I know that it was mentioned that he is rich when it comes to his job, and that he even owns property. But…how does he get away with all that?

This is obviously a nit-pick from me with the Saw franchise, but at least it’s easy to ignore now. The series has finally picked up with Saw X, so I completely ignored the fact that he designed ‘from who knows what’ with several traps that were given to people that used their ‘medical knowledge’ for evil. 

Saw XI will be releasing in September 26th, 2025, so I’m excited for the next entry. I’m so glad that John Kramer is now back, and that the series is now focusing on his backstory this time around. 

And if the writers continue the trend of making the next films great, then I can easily ignore how John Kramer builds his traps.
