The Monkey is a Good Horror Movie?

I was shocked to find out that Stephen King’s short horror story The Monkey has been received pretty well with critics. I’m still waiting on the fans on this one, before I decide to go watch the film. I am still pretty shocked to see that the concept of the movie actually worked!

It ain’t easy to create a horror movie with a cursed monkey toy, and from the looks of the trailer, the crew stuck to the practical effects. This is one of the main reasons why I want to go check out this movie. I’m also surprised that Oz Perkins that created Longlegs made this film too. 

I know that Longlegs was pretty mixed when it came to the fans, but I thoroughly enjoyed the dark atmosphere of the film. Oz Perkins is the kind of director that does not hold back on the horror, and I can’t wait to see how gruesome The Monkey is going to be. 

I can’t even believe Stephen King wrote this story. I’m a hardcore Stephen King fan, but I had no idea this story even existed! 

I’m going to try and find this book online, so that I can hopefully read the story before I go check out the film!

The Monkey will be released on February 21st, 2025!

Are We Horror Fans Finally Getting an R.L. Stine Fear Street Movie?

Companion is an Absolute Blast of Surprises and Sci — Fi Horror
