Will Jurassic World Rebirth Bring Life Back to the Dinosaur Franchise?

I finally got to watch the Jurassic World Rebirth trailer during Superbowl, and I got several pros and cons with this new film for the Jurassic Park franchise. I got to be honest here, I’m not sure how to feel about the new movies anymore.

I think the old three films to the Jurassic Park franchise will always be the best ones by far. I don’t care if fans weren’t a huge fan of Jurassic Park 3, it’s ten times better than the last two films we got in the reboot lol.

The ideas were awesome, but poorly executed in the last two films. I was so lost with the introduction of the little girl who was part robot and dinosaur. Like what the hell happened???

Anyway, after I watched the Jurassic World Rebirth trailer, here are several reasons why I think the movie might work or might not work.

First Pro: We are getting a mutant dinosaur.

I think this idea could really work. From the looks of the plot, we are getting a group of people who are heading to the old dinosaur island from the original Jurassic Park movie for research.

The group ends up running into an experimentation of a dinosaur that looks pretty freaky, and might become a huge threat for the group. There is a lot of potential for this idea, and I really hope that the film does not hold back on the kills. I miss how disturbing the deaths were in the original three films, this is what the franchise needs to bring back!

Second Pro: We have a decent cast for the new installment.

I was pretty surprised to see Scarlet Johansson and Jonathan Bailey as the new main survivors for the new reboot. I’m curious to see their chemistry in the film, are they going to be friends will they form a romance?

I guess we shall see once the film releases!

Third Pro: This could be the most action-packed installment in the franchise.

From what I saw in the trailer, I think this could be the most action-packed adventure yet. It looks like this group is going to bring a lot of firepower, because I’m sure that they know what to expect stepping foot on an island of dinosaurs.

I would love to see multiple battle royales with the characters desperate to survive, and once again, I hope we get a lot of deaths!

Now, onto the cons:

First Con: These movies are starting to become tedious.

I have to admit, the story of ‘people being stupid enough to not expect anything to go wrong with dinosaurs’ is starting to get kind of annoying. After six movies, shouldn’t people already have an idea that wanting to conduct dino research is a bad idea???

In every single film, something always goes wrong, and the dinosaurs start killing everyone. Like bruh, if I was offered to go to a place filled with dinosaurs, I would not go, not even for a million dollars.

What’s the point of spending that money if I get eaten alive?

Second Con: Stop. Bringing. Kids. Into. These. Movies.

While I was watching the trailer, I thought I saw a little kid in the movie. I got to be honest here, I’m getting tired of always seeing the kids survive from these situations.

Let’s be realistic here, no one is safe. Dinosaurs would see anyone as a snack, and would consume them in a second. Why can’t the franchise be like the first movie of the A Quiet Place franchise, and kill off a kid in the first couple minutes?

Hell, why would these idiots bring a kid to the dinosaur island in the first place??? That is incredibly stupid.

I’m not sure what to expect with the new film, but I’m hoping that it’s going to blow me away. I really miss the old terror I felt in the old Jurassic Park films.

I felt scared watching them when I was a kid, and I hope this new reboot will bring back the terror of a dinosaur catching you and eating you. That is hands down the top ten worst ways to die…
