Horror Fans Would Love Karin Slaughter Novels

 


I have recently started to read crime fiction books, and one of the few authors I heard many good things about was Karin Slaughter's work. Her books are extremely disturbing and tough to read. She never holds back on the scary shit that take place in her novels, and the villains behind these monstrous acts are downright terrifying. 

What makes her books so scary, is that this kind of horror could happen in real life. 

I understand if the majority of horror fans out there would not be interested in reading her stories. I sometimes struggle to get through her books, and wow, a lot of parts make me so uncomfortable. 

You will find yourself rooting for a lot of her characters, because you want the bad guys to be taken down so bad. In a novel called Faithless I finished reading recently, featured a guy named Paul, who used his power to treat everyone like crap, including his own family. 

You will wish him dead once he reveals his true colors, and damn, was he written so well!

And if you want to read a novel that will mess with your head toward the ending, please go check out Blonde Hair, Blue Eyes. The ending really bothered me...

...the ending was brutal.

The Final Season of 'You' Ends on a Powerful Note

People have always been mixed on what they think of this show, but I have always loved the insanity of this crazy serial killer.  Joe Goldberg is such a complex character who thrives on the power of love and is willing to do whatever it takes for the next woman he falls for.  He never hesitates to murder anyone, including his love interest. If she stops loving him, he will not hesitate to murder her. That is the main reason why Joe is freaking scary. He will be your knight in shining armor, but once that image of love is taken from him, he will show his true nature.  I loved how the final season focused on Joe’s evil self. While the first four seasons purposely viewed his character sort of like an antihero, the final season does not hold back on Joe’s evil side. Horror Movie Trailers Are Starting to Piss Me Off Again

  Credit to Rotten Tomatoes  I went to the movies last night to go watch the film,  Babygirl . The movie surprised me in many ways, and I was left speechless multiple times. Like what the heck did I just watch?? Before the movie began, like in any theater, I was watching several trailers. I watched three horror movie trailers that caught my attention: 1. Companion is going to be released on January 31st.  Credit to Bloody Disgusting Even though I now have an idea what the movie is going to be about, not enough was shown for me to fully understand just what the hell was going on.  I won’t spoil anything here, because I know that this film is going to be a complete surprise to everyone.
