The Substance Won an Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling

 


Finally, we horror fans have gotten some kind of acknowledgement in the movie industry. Even though it's such a shame that The Substance didn't win more awards, or that Demi Moore did not win her Oscar for her incredible performance, we at least got one win. 

The Substance won an Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling. That is an awesome achievement, and I'm so glad that the academy had to give credit to the amazing body horror that took place in this film. I have not seen body horror that uncomfortable since John Carpenter's The Thing!

Even though I was kind of bored by the events that took place in the Oscars, this win was a major highlight for the night!

The Final Season of 'You' Ends on a Powerful Note

People have always been mixed on what they think of this show, but I have always loved the insanity of this crazy serial killer.  Joe Goldberg is such a complex character who thrives on the power of love and is willing to do whatever it takes for the next woman he falls for.  He never hesitates to murder anyone, including his love interest. If she stops loving him, he will not hesitate to murder her. That is the main reason why Joe is freaking scary. He will be your knight in shining armor, but once that image of love is taken from him, he will show his true nature.  I loved how the final season focused on Joe’s evil self. While the first four seasons purposely viewed his character sort of like an antihero, the final season does not hold back on Joe’s evil side. Horror Movie Trailers Are Starting to Piss Me Off Again

  Credit to Rotten Tomatoes  I went to the movies last night to go watch the film,  Babygirl . The movie surprised me in many ways, and I was left speechless multiple times. Like what the heck did I just watch?? Before the movie began, like in any theater, I was watching several trailers. I watched three horror movie trailers that caught my attention: 1. Companion is going to be released on January 31st.  Credit to Bloody Disgusting Even though I now have an idea what the movie is going to be about, not enough was shown for me to fully understand just what the hell was going on.  I won’t spoil anything here, because I know that this film is going to be a complete surprise to everyone.
