How Many Times Should I Post Horror Stories on YouTube a Day?
I am currently posting on YouTube and TikTok again, after finding out that YouTube shorts are finally getting monetized on the algorithm. It never counted for my horror content before, and now I’m determined to see if I can reach my goal of getting my horror stories monetized.
The only thing I’m having trouble deciding is how many times to post on YouTube with my shorts. I decided to give it a shot on Sunday, posting about two mini horror stories. I posted one around 2ish in the afternoon, and I posted again around 9 p.m.
The one around 2 p.m. received about 232 views in total so far. The horror story is about a couple who moves out of their home after they receive a scary picture in the mailbox from their stalker.
And yes, the story is fake, I would never post real stuff lol.
My other short video received about 15 views so far. The horror story is about a dog who discovers pile of human bones.
And again, it is a fake story.
I don’t think it was a good idea to post twice a day on a Sunday, so I think I’m going to avoid posting on this day. I did read that the weekend doesn’t have that much coverage, so maybe it’s best to avoid posting more than once.
I decided to give Monday a try, and posted around the same time, at 2 p.m.
It appears that Monday is indeed a good day to post. Since it is a weekday, I have already achieved about 100ish views on my video. I’m planning to post again around 9ish in the evening, but I think I might post sooner, because I got plans to work out sometime at night lol.
I’m going to continue this experiment, and see how many views I get by the end of the week.
I have now achieved 4,300 views so far in total. I have to reach any of these goals in order to become monetized:
3,000 valid public watch hours.
3 million shorts views.
Or:
4,000 valid public watch hours.
10 million Shorts views.
I will continue to keep you guys updated on my progress!
