I Bought 4 Horror Books
I should probably stop buying horror books, but like my family says:
“They will always support people who read.”
So, I guess it is good to follow that motto lol.
I recently bought four more horror books from Barnes & Noble on Easter weekend.
1. Middletide by Sarah Crouch
Alright, this book isn’t technically a horror novel, but it was part of a 50% deal with buying two books, so I said screw it. A young woman who worked at Barnes & Noble told me I would love this book, so I decided to give it a shot.
She was pretty passionate about the story, so how could I say no?
She was pretty good at advertising this book for me!
2. Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris
Again, not technically horror, but the premise definitely sounds like a horror novel. The story caught my attention when a YouTuber I love talked about the book. I had been waiting so long for some sort of discount, and I finally found the book out of luck!
This book is pretty disturbing, and the husband will piss you off!
3. Serial Killer Support Group by Saratoga Schaefer
How could any horror fan say no to a book title like that?
I didn’t even search up the book summary. Once I saw that title, I instantly knew I had to buy the novel. That wacky title promises a lot of potential for my horror brain!
4. What Remains of the Teague House by Stacy Johns
Horror fans had made a huge deal about this novel, so I decided to finally purchase it. The title sounds pretty scary, and something tells me I might find myself reading a supernatural crime novel.
I have no idea what to expect, and I’m excited to read it!
I spent about $36 in total for these four books lol. I seriously need to stop spending money on books, but how can I resist?
