Lies of P is a Fantastic Horror Parody of Pinocchio

I have finally gotten my hands on Lies of P, a videogame that received huge popularity when it was first released in September of 2023. It became so huge, that it led to a big struggle for me to even find a physical copy of the game.

I know that I could have bought it digital for the PS5, but I felt compelled to own the physical copy when I first learned how tough it was to get your hands on one. I eventually did when a family member offered to buy me the game through Amazon.

I was so grateful, and I lost track how many times I thanked her lol.

Once I began to play this game on Tuesday of this week, I was immediately pulled into the strange Grimm world of puppets who had gone mad. Pinocchio’s creator, Geppetto, created many puppets for the city of Krat, to help people in their daily tasks.

Like all inventions in the horror genre, shit went wrong fast.

The puppets wiped out the entire city, killing anyone that was a human. After this horrible disaster, Pinocchio suddenly wakes up, with the help of a fairy godmother named Sophia. She explains to him that there is something about him that is special, he is not like the other puppets.

I’m so curious why Geppetto put so much tender and care into creating Pinocchio, compared to the other puppets that well…look like puppets.

Pinocchio looks way too human compared to the other ones, minus his robotic arm. I can’t wait to learn more about the history of his father, because he is still alive out there, somewhere in the city of Krat.

I have a gut feeling this story is going to be phenomenal, and I can’t wait to play more!
