Mia Goth pulls off such a likable character with terrifying tendencies of murder and mayhem. Pearl  is actually a prequel to one of my favorite horror films,  X , and is the middle chapter in a trilogy. This trilogy was directed by Ti West, and it featured Mia Goth playing two different characters, as both the antagonist and the protagonist in this trilogy. The prequel starts off Mia as the villain, Pearl. Unlike the protagonist, Maxine, that has her dreams come true, Pearl isn’t exactly given the same happy ending. If it hadn’t been for her killer self, maybe she would have had a chance in the ‘star world.’ Instead, we are given a total downfall of Pearl embracing her monstrous side, killing anyone that stands in her way. Are We Horror Fans Finally Getting an R.L. Stine Fear Street Movie?

Stine is known for creating the iconic Goosebumps series for children, he also created a horror series for young adults, known as the Fear Street novels.  I felt that this series was extremely underrated, and I always wondered if there would ever be a movie on any of these horror novels one day.  We did get a trilogy of Fear Street on Netflix, but I’ll be referring to his standalone horror novels for this article. We are getting a film based on one of his books, Prom Queen, that will be releasing sometime this year.  This story is a pretty simple slasher tale. Horror Movie Trailers Are Starting to Piss Me Off Again

  Credit to Rotten Tomatoes  I went to the movies last night to go watch the film,  Babygirl . The movie surprised me in many ways, and I was left speechless multiple times. Like what the heck did I just watch?? Before the movie began, like in any theater, I was watching several trailers. I watched three horror movie trailers that caught my attention: 1. Companion is going to be released on January 31st.  Credit to Bloody Disgusting Even though I now have an idea what the movie is going to be about, not enough was shown for me to fully understand just what the hell was going on.  I won’t spoil anything here, because I know that this film is going to be a complete surprise to everyone. The premise is already so original! 2. Death of a Unicorn is going to be released sometime this year.  Credit to A24 The trailer showed enough for me to become invested, and I died of laughter in several scenes.
