Random Horror Films I'm Excited to Watch in 2025

 


There is quite a small list of films I’m excited to watch this year. I was not able to watch all of them that have been released in theaters, due to personal reasons that led to a tough year so far. I’m doing pretty good now, so I’m planning to watch quite a bit of films this year. 

I wasn’t even interested in some of these, but after I heard so many good reviews from several of these films, I have changed my mind. 

3. Five Nights at Freddy’s 2

I was so impressed with the animatronics from the first film, if it hadn’t been for the practical effects, I don’t think I would have enjoyed this film. I’m looking forward to the next project of this videogame franchise, and I was so happy to learn that we are getting two huge horror legends in the sequel. 

Both Billy and Shaggy from the first film of the Scream franchise are going to reunite for the second installment, and they are going to play villains, who also work together!

Now I’m even more pumped to check out the film!

2. Together

I know nothing about this film, but wow, the posters have already caught my attention. My theory this film will focus on a couple, who start to endure horrific forms of body horror torture. 

How this will take place is a total mystery to me, and I’m so curious to see how brutal this film is going to be. 

Giving a film a huge quote like: “The best horror film of the year,” is kind of a huge thing to say. Hopefully this film will impress me!

1. Weapons

The fact that I still know nothing about this movie, is what makes this one of my most anticipated horror films of 2025. The trailer is one of the creepiest I have seen in a long time, and I am beyond excited to watch this one! 

I think it’s pretty incredible how Julia Garner is going to now appear in three films this year, I think she is a pretty great actress, and I can’t wait to see her in both Fantastic Four and Weapons! 

I’m so curious to know what this film is going to be about!

The Final Season of 'You' Ends on a Powerful Note

People have always been mixed on what they think of this show, but I have always loved the insanity of this crazy serial killer.  Joe Goldberg is such a complex character who thrives on the power of love and is willing to do whatever it takes for the next woman he falls for.  He never hesitates to murder anyone, including his love interest. If she stops loving him, he will not hesitate to murder her. That is the main reason why Joe is freaking scary. He will be your knight in shining armor, but once that image of love is taken from him, he will show his true nature.  I loved how the final season focused on Joe’s evil self. While the first four seasons purposely viewed his character sort of like an antihero, the final season does not hold back on Joe’s evil side. Horror Movie Trailers Are Starting to Piss Me Off Again

  Credit to Rotten Tomatoes  I went to the movies last night to go watch the film,  Babygirl . The movie surprised me in many ways, and I was left speechless multiple times. Like what the heck did I just watch?? Before the movie began, like in any theater, I was watching several trailers. I watched three horror movie trailers that caught my attention: 1. Companion is going to be released on January 31st.  Credit to Bloody Disgusting Even though I now have an idea what the movie is going to be about, not enough was shown for me to fully understand just what the hell was going on.  I won’t spoil anything here, because I know that this film is going to be a complete surprise to everyone.
