My Halloween Spirit Has Returned

I know I mentioned before with how excited I am for Halloween, but wow, I just went to a Halloween store on Thursday evening, and even though I was only inside for about 20 minutes, my excitement for the holiday is now at 100%.

We all know the famous Spirit Halloween that a lot of horror fans love, and damn, they have returned with quite the horror theme this year!

They went for a subway theme this year, and I was so impressed with the animatronics I saw set up around the subway station. It's like a nightmare of monsters have arrived to invade a city, and the first place they have claimed as their own is the subway station.

I really wish I took pictures of everything, but the store was super packed, and I didn't want to take pictures of people who were around the animatronics…because that would have been kind of awkward lol.

It did suck how I wasn't able to attend the opening of the Halloween store today. I had been waiting for opening day for so long, only to find out that I wouldn't be able to show up on time. I'm planning to go on Saturday morning, because there could be a mini storm arriving on Friday, and I also got to go work my part time job.

I'm looking forward to working more with another part time job, because I will be able to buy a lot of Halloween decor, but ignore that side rant lol.

I have to admit, the animatronics for this Halloween are CREATIVE AS HELL. We got some horror contenders this year, and I was so impressed with the monsters that were on display. We got a tall demon with horns, a screaming possessed woman that is able to bent backwards, we got some freaky clowns again, and we have a badass creature of a large crow with huge wings.

I feel that whoever created these animatronics wanted to go all out this year, and it definitely shows with how freaking awesome the creatures look. The subway station is also a genius idea, and I died of laughter when I read a random newspaper headline they had as part of the set up.

The newspaper mentioned a gigantic rat had gotten loose in the subway station, and the paper also brought up other deaths that have been taking place, including through a dating site.

GENIUS.

I am planning to somehow post pictures of how the subway station looks, because it definitely needs to be shown…the setup is honestly really incredible.

Man, I can't wait to start purchasing new Halloween stuff from the store. I bought quite a bit of decor from last Halloween, and I'm so curious to see what is going to be sold in the store. I was only in the store for 20 minutes before closing time on Thursday evening, so I didn't have time to fully look at everything.

I'm going to post images of the cool stuff I will be buying from the store too, to show any horror fans on here who are interested with shopping in Spirit Halloween. There is one item I'm so determined to purchase, and I could care less that it's a bit expensive.

It's a blanket, that shows an image of one of my favorite vampire films!

As you can see, I'm pretty excited for Halloween in 2025. I'm really struggling what to dress up as for this year, but I'm sure I will figure it out eventually. I'm also pretty damn excited to start decorating my bedroom for Halloween too. I can't wait to share my pics of how I decorate my room!

What are your plans for Halloween this year?
