Credit to "Twin Peaks" Miss Twin Peaks (TV Episode 1991) - Kenneth Welsh as Windom Earle - IMDb Windom Earle did not feel like he belonged in the universe of Twin Peaks. Once the second half of season 2 fell into the 'soap opera' era, an old foe of Cooper's, known as Windom Earle, entered back into his life. Cooper was romantically involved with his wife, and this connection led to Windom coming after him. I personally did not like Windom Earle. He was way too cartoonish for a show like this, and I honestly thought he belonged in the DC universe, as a Batman villain. Windom Earle was dangerous, but there was also some comedy thrown into his character, which made no sense for the creepy atmosphere of Twin Peaks. I thought it was kind of silly how he kept on disguising himself as random people, and you're telling me that he was able to blend in so easily among Twin Peaks, a police department that literally dealt with a terrifying supernatural entity? I felt ...
Credit to YouTube David Lynch had guts when it came to writing the character of Laura Palmer. I have watched a lot of television in my time, but Laura Palmer's story is probably one of the most tragic stories in television. What's crazy is that even though her character is dead in the very beginning of the show, her character feels so real to the audience. From the way that everyone in Twin Peaks talks about her, it's interesting to get so many different viewpoints of her character. However, everyone could agree that Laura was indeed a tragic character. She had been thrown into an awful and cruel world, all because she was struggling to battle one of the most powerful entities from the Black Lodge. This evil only got worse when the entity took over her own father, that brought even more trauma to her character. The events that led up to her death was brutal to another level, and it was so sad how she had died in fear. The prequel film to her story was so hard to watch, a...
Credit to https://www.youtube.com/@urbanspook “The Painter” was created by a YouTube content creator, called UrbanSPOOK. This creator is known for a fictional crime spree of two serial killers; depicting very unsettling and horrendous violent acts against their victims. The story does have its fair share of fans, but only very few can handle this type of heavy content. What makes this specific analog horror so terrifying, is that this type of horror can happen in real life. Serial killers have existed for decades, an unfortunate and sad fact that these monsters hiding beneath human skin walk among us. These fictional killers and their crimes are sick, extremely sick, I struggled to watch the content the first time I was introduced to the series. It follows a stranger the viewer is not yet aware of, who finds VHS tapes and plays them. The story plays out with authorities struggling to catch two serial killers; leaving behind paintings of their victims; like a sick parody of what w...
