I'm Planning to Create Horror Videos for My YouTube Channel

I have recently been told that TikTok has rejected my account for monetization, due to my videos being considered low quality content. While I was a bit disappointed with this result, this has inspired me to start something for my YouTube channel I have been putting off for quite some time.

I have been wanting to start uploading horror videos to my YouTube channel. I have a decent amount of followers, and I think I can finally start focusing on the sort of content I want to upload for my channel. I have also learned sort of similar to TikTok, that YouTube would consider me for monetization with my mini horror stories, but it would take FOREVER until I was considered.

YouTube recently explained to me that their platform doesn't count all of the views that I get for my mini horror stories, because shorts isn't strongly considered for monetization, unless the content similar to that of TikTok, is good quality content.

And you know what? I get it.

These platforms are going to want to accept people who are willing to produce good content for their viewers. And even though my mini horror stories can be quite fun to create for these platforms, it makes sense why I wouldn't be accepted for their programs.

So, I guess TikTok rejecting me was a sort of wake up call for me.

After finally completing some research on how to create YouTube videos, I think I found the perfect app to create my horror videos.

Canva is a free app to use, and even though you won't be able to use everything to make your YouTube videos, they allow enough for you to use to be able to upload your content. I was in shock to see how easy it is to make a YouTube video, but I know that the content that I am going to be focusing on will not be easy.

However, I'm excited to begin working on these future videos.

I'm tired of waiting. I keep on hesitating with my mini dream of creating a YouTube horror channel, but I keep holding it off...I'm no longer going to be doing that anymore.

I want to focus on my favorite genre. I'm a huge horror fan, and I want to create videos that pertains to all kinds of horror. I want to focus on personal fears I have, and turn that into a video. Yes, this does sound a little crazy, but they are simple fears, like being afraid of the woods.

I want to create YouTube analysis videos based on my favorite horror films of all time. This would be so fun to do, and I really want to learn how to add on actual footage of the films, and learn how to avoid getting a copyright strike against my content. I think as long as I don't add the sound of the movie, and just show the footage while talking over it, I think I will be fine.

I also would love to make horror videos based on other random stuff too, like maybe videogames, but I'm not sure how I would be able to throw in actual footage of videogames. I think I could work with only images, but I guess I shall learn along my journey.

So, if TikTok hadn't rejected me, I think I would have continued to create horror content in the 'lazy' way. Seriously, these videos only take me seconds to make. These platforms are looking for great content, and I want to prove to myself that I can create interesting videos based on the horror genre.

And TikTok did let me know that I have until the end of October to prove them wrong with my quality content.

I have officially considered this a challenge!
