I Uploaded My First Horror YouTube Video

I have finally decided to start posting horror YouTube videos. 

I told myself that I was going to start uploading videos to my YouTube channel, no hesitation. I now have about 1,169 subscribers, so why not introduce them to other horror videos that are much longer than 10 seconds, so that they can start to check out more videos from me?

I cannot believe that the perfect platform to post the kind of horror content I wanted to post was right under my nose the whole time. I have been using Canva for years, ever since I was in college. I can’t believe how easy it was to create a video, and even though it took me almost an hour to figure out how to use the Canva videos, I had so much fun making my video. 

Since I’m not an expert just yet, I decided to only use photos for my first video. I’m planning to start using footage or record myself, (I don’t want to show my face, so I’m still trying to figure that part out), so that I can start creating videos I’ve been wanting to make for a long time. 

Canva is so freaking easy to use, and it’s a lot of fun for a beginner. And I couldn’t believe great the audio was when I was recording my voice. I have used countless audio platforms, but this one is exactly what I was hoping for. My voice is so clear, and I can hear every word that I am saying. 

I’m planning to use my phone to start recording my videos in the near future. I used my laptop as practice for right now, since I do have a lot of experience with Canva on this specific device. I’m curious if the phone or laptop will be easier to record my videos, but I guess I shall see what I prefer later on. 

I’m also trying to figure out how often I should upload videos on my channel. It’s going to really tough as of right now, since I’m working a part time job that is taking up most of my time…it’s going to be a doozy for sure. But I will find some kind of schedule for myself, because I’m determined to continue to post horror content. 

My first video is quite simple. 

I decided to focus on one fear that I personally have. 

I’m TERRIFIED of the woods. 

I thought this would be a good start to my YouTube channel, because I could easily talk about the horror movie that inspired this fear of the woods in me. The Blair Witch Project is the reason why I’m scared to go camping now, and this video idea gave me the perfect excuse to talk about a horror movie. 

It’s a pretty short video, and I thought it would be good to start off with a short video about a personal fear of mine. 

I think I now have a phobia with the woods now, and I definitely blame this film for giving me this fear.

 I’ll let you guys know what other ideas I have in store for you horror fans in the future! I’m planning to talk about a lot of horror topics, from movies, characters, videogames, etc. 

I love horror to death, and I can’t wait to continue this mini journey. I’m so determined to see how far I can take this channel! I’m a horror fan, and therefore, I’ll stay committed to this goal!

Pearl is a Wicked and Horrific Start to a Memorable Horror Trilogy

Mia Goth pulls off such a likable character with terrifying tendencies of murder and mayhem. Pearl  is actually a prequel to one of my favorite horror films,  X , and is the middle chapter in a trilogy. This trilogy was directed by Ti West, and it featured Mia Goth playing two different characters, as both the antagonist and the protagonist in this trilogy. The prequel starts off Mia as the villain, Pearl. Unlike the protagonist, Maxine, that has her dreams come true, Pearl isn’t exactly given the same happy ending. If it hadn’t been for her killer self, maybe she would have had a chance in the ‘star world.’ Instead, we are given a total downfall of Pearl embracing her monstrous side, killing anyone that stands in her way. ‘The Return of the Pumpkin Rabbit’ is an Animated Cartoon that is Absolutely Terrifying

The story follows a group of kids on Halloween who are curious to investigate a house known as The Murder House. The group of kids (the kids are actually animals) don’t realize what sort of horrors await inside of the house…and damn…it ends up turning into a fight for survival. The kids are hunted by two people known as the Waterson's, a sheep and a rabbit, (yes, a sheep and a rabbit) who terrorize these poor children. And damn, these deaths do not hold back. One of the few scenes that broke me was when one kid refused to enter the house. He made all of the smart decisions, and he is the first one to die.
