Hokum is One of the Scariest Horror Trailers I Have Seen this Year

I heard of this horror movie called Hokum coming out in 2026, but I didn’t pay much attention to the trailer…until I started to hear fans mention a creepy looking face. 

I knew I had to watch the trailer, and I INSTANTLY REGRETTED MY DECISION. 

So glad it was daylight when I saw the trailer, but it still didn’t help. 

In the first three seconds of the trailer, we see the main character, played by Adam Scott, sleeping on a bed. He is dead asleep from the looks of it, and then we get something absolutely terrifying. 

Some kind of thing, with big white eyes with black pupils in them, with the face of some kind of animal with bunny/dog ears…is watching him sleep. 

The first time I saw this face, I literally jumped.

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT???

It’s so creepy, and damn, that face is NIGHTMARE FUEL. 

It was definitely enough to keep me invested, and now I want to watch this movie so bad. 

From the summary I read online, this movie is going to be about a horror writer who visits an Irish inn to spread the ashes of his parents. He is then targeted by a witch, who is haunting the inn. 

If that is how the damn witch looks like…HELL NO. 

That shit is horrifying, and one of the scariest designs to a witch I have ever seen in my life. It’s Blair Witch Project shit, and that’s because we never SEE the witch!

Anyways, I’m excited to see Hokum in theaters. It is going to release in the middle of 2026. 

I’m both scared and excited to watch this movie.

Pearl is a Wicked and Horrific Start to a Memorable Horror Trilogy

Mia Goth pulls off such a likable character with terrifying tendencies of murder and mayhem. Pearl  is actually a prequel to one of my favorite horror films,  X , and is the middle chapter in a trilogy. This trilogy was directed by Ti West, and it featured Mia Goth playing two different characters, as both the antagonist and the protagonist in this trilogy. The prequel starts off Mia as the villain, Pearl. Unlike the protagonist, Maxine, that has her dreams come true, Pearl isn’t exactly given the same happy ending. ‘The Return of the Pumpkin Rabbit’ is an Animated Cartoon that is Absolutely Terrifying

The story follows a group of kids on Halloween who are curious to investigate a house known as The Murder House. The group of kids (the kids are actually animals) don’t realize what sort of horrors await inside of the house…and damn…it ends up turning into a fight for survival.
