Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a Worthy Addition to the Franchise

I never thought we would ever get a great Indiana Jones story again. After the last two films didn't do so hot with fans, I thought that would be it for the franchise entirely. Then I was shocked to learn about a new story being added to the franchise, a videogame that features Troy Baker as Indiana Jones. I had some doubts about Troy Baker playing such an iconic character, but I found myself impressed with how well he was able to pull of Harrison Ford's voice.

That was my only doubt about the game, and I knew that I had to somehow get my hands on playing this game one day. I eventually purchased the game around late 2025, and once I started to play the game, I couldn't stop. The story was so immersive, and it really felt like I was watching an actual Indiana Jones movie! The way that the game was made was pretty cool, it's a simple game that really sucks you into the world of Indiana Jones, switching from two different points of view for both the gameplay and movie setup!

This story was so damn great, and I think it has to now be tied with the very first Indiana Jones movie: Raiders of the Lost Ark. This game takes place after the first film, with Indiana Jones finding himself in another adventure of fighting Nazis, who are after a similar powerful artifact like the Ark from the first film. He teams up with a reporter named Gina, who makes another excellent love interest for Indiana. She has her own agenda for wanting to go after the Nazis, who are behind her sister's disappearance.

The Nazis are led by a general named Voss, who is determined to seek this artifact, that will give him great power. Indiana, Gina, and an organization known as The Giants, are work together to take down Voss, wanting to prevent this power from being unleashed.

The main climax toward the end of the game was amazing. The ending mostly focused on the movie setup, and I barely played during this scene, only taking part only in several fight scenes. I was so captivated by the experience, freaking out during this particular sequence. Despite several tough parts of the game that requires a lot of patience and puzzle solving, it's so worth it in the end, all because of how powerful the ending was.

I'm planning to write another article what I think happened to one character, but I'm going to hold off on talking about this particular character, to avoid spoilers for right now. If you're a gamer or a fan of Indiana Jones, please go play this game, or check out the story on YouTube!

I guarantee you will feel the same Indiana Jones magic from the original movie trilogy!
