Onechanbara Deserves a Reboot
I feel that the Onechanbara zombie franchise is massively underrated. While it's not as big like Resident Evil or House of the Dead, I feel that Onechanbara deserves to have either a reboot or a remake. This anime zombie game follows the story of two sisters named Saki and Aya, who are always caught up in insane adventures, where they must battle zombies to survive.
They sometimes run into other samurai girls who fight zombies for either their own personal gain, or trying to put a stop to the dead like the sisters. 4 games have been released to this series, and I have only been able to play the Wii and X360 version. In my personal opinion, the Wii version had the best stories for each playable character, and we really got a deep dive into the personalities of these girls, and it worked so well.
Even the villains had excellent backstories, and sometimes you even got to play and check out their own stories!
I haven't been able to play Onechanbara Z2 Chaos, but I have heard that we now get four playable characters, including an English dub! I'm excited to eventually play the game, and I think I'm going to want even more games of this franchise once I do!
It sucks how underrated this series is, I wish it was as big as other popular horror game franchises, this series definitely deserves its own remake/reboot!
