Obsession Looks Like One of the Creepiest Horror Movies of 2026

 


There is a horror movie trailer that caught my attention, every time I go watch a movie in the theaters. I've only seen two trailers, and I think it's going to be one of the best horror movies of 2026. From my personal theory of the trailer, I think I have an idea about the plot. We will be following a random guy, who gets obsessed with a girl online. He finds some sort of magical item that gives him the power to make any wish, and he obviously makes a wish for this girl to fall hard for him. 

This wish instantly goes wrong, when we get glimpses of the main character covered in blood, as the girl is creepily watching him in certain background shots of the trailer, her face hidden by shadows. It's so creepy how the girl doesn't even appear human anymore, and this aspect has made me so excited for the movie. It kind of reminds me of that horror movie Companion, but instead of a killer robot programmed to kill, we get some kind of terrifying human possession. 

How the main character is going to solve the problem with trying to undo his chaotic wish is probably not going to go well.

This is now one of my most anticipated horror movies of the year, and I'm so excited to watch it!

Pearl is a Wicked and Horrific Start to a Memorable Horror Trilogy

Mia Goth pulls off such a likable character with terrifying tendencies of murder and mayhem. Pearl  is actually a prequel to one of my favorite horror films,  X , and is the middle chapter in a trilogy. This trilogy was directed by Ti West, and it featured Mia Goth playing two different characters, as both the antagonist and the protagonist in this trilogy. The prequel starts off Mia as the villain, Pearl. Unlike the protagonist, Maxine, that has her dreams come true, Pearl isn’t exactly given the same happy ending. If it hadn’t been for her killer self, maybe she would have had a chance in the ‘star world.’ Instead, we are given a total downfall of Pearl embracing her monstrous side, killing anyone that stands in her way. ‘The Return of the Pumpkin Rabbit’ is an Animated Cartoon that is Absolutely Terrifying

The story follows a group of kids on Halloween who are curious to investigate a house known as The Murder House. The group of kids (the kids are actually animals) don’t realize what sort of horrors await inside of the house…and damn…it ends up turning into a fight for survival. The kids are hunted by two people known as the Waterson's, a sheep and a rabbit, (yes, a sheep and a rabbit) who terrorize these poor children. And damn, these deaths do not hold back.
