Absolute Batman Looks ‘Absolutely’ Wicked

I have recently heard of a new Batman comic that has gained a lot of popularity from DC fans. I did hear some hype over this new series, but I didn’t get why fans were making such a big deal. Once I feasted my eyes on the new design of Joker in this series, I was instantly hooked.

It’s so ballsy how the creator of this new series is willing to give fans a brand-new vision of our favorite crime fighter in the city of Gotham. I love it when I find great concepts/ideas of Batman comics like this! Even though I haven’t read the series yet, I have a feeling I’m really going to enjoy checking out this series!

The designs of the villains in this comic book are INSANE!

Plus, the villains have very different personalities compared to the villains we all know and love/dislike from Arkham Asylum, but the changes feel so fresh and original!

From what I have seen so far of the villains:

  • Scarecrow’s face is an actual scarecrow. It’s so eerie to look at.
  • Two Face appears to be a calm and collected villain that appears to share an odd connection with Bruce Wayne, and is possibly good friends with Penguin?
  • Penguin’s personality feels the same, but he comes off more angry in this series compared to his other counterparts.
  • Joker is probably one of the craziest changes in this series. He is a billionaire that supposedly never laughs, and he is pretty intelligent. He was willing to transform into a demonic monster to fight against Batman.
  • Poison Ivy is straight up nightmare fuel. She looks like a final boss fight in a horror videogame, seriously, what the hell are these villains injecting into their bodies to turn into grotesque beasts like this???
  • Killer Croc scared me the most. Dude transformed into a HUGE crocodile-like creature. No way in hell I would battle something like that.

That is all I have seen so far, but I would freaking love to read this comic book one day. I’m waiting until they put all of issues in one book, so that I can purchase the entire story in one instead of buying multiple issues. Collecting comics used to be fun for me, but after the comics started to really pile up over the years, I realized that it’s best to get the book version instead of getting every single comic book for the story I’m interested in.

Have you heard about Absolute Batman? What do you think of this comic book series?
