Does The Boys Deserve to be Seen as a Horror Show?

I have only watched the first two seasons of The Boys, including half of season 3 so far. I have to say, that this show feels like a horror television show. I think it has to do with the reality horror that takes place in the story. We are following the story of a villain who is a powerful superhero, who is a monster through and through. There are no redeeming qualities about this man, because he has done too much evil, and it would be impossible for him to get a redemption arc. The show revolves around him from the very beginning, as we focus on the company that brought him to life, known as Vought.
Their superhero creations like Homelander led to so much torture and suffering among other characters who unfortunately happened to run into their path. The main character witnessed the murder of his girlfriend by one of the main superheroes from Homelander's team, a young woman known as Starlight is tortured by a man the first day she joins Vought, and some other characters have experienced brutal torture by some of these so called superheroes.
The problem is that this group hold so much power over everyone in the world, that it has now become impossible for the main characters to even take the superheroes down without heavy losses or trouble. The Boys is surrounded in reality horror, and I consider it to be one of the scariest horror genres.
This kind of horror happens in real life, and it's scary to imagine that these horrible events do happen in real life.
The Boys never holds back on the madness that takes place throughout the entire show. It's so hard to watch sometimes, because of how heavy or graphic the content can be like in the show.
The Boys is a ruthless show, and is one of the 'scariest shows' ever made.
