Why Are There So Many Different Books of the Dead in the Evil Dead Franchise?

The one thing that I have noticed about the Evil Dead franchise is how many books appear to exist in the franchise. I'm aware that the Evil Dead television show has explained the Evil Dead lore, but I'd rather go over the books, since Evil Dead's Army of Darkness specifically mentions three different Books of the Dead that appear in the old trilogy, the Evil Dead remake, and the recent entry of Evil Dead Rise.
Three different books are present only the films, and now, we are getting a fourth Book of the Dead in Evil Dead Burn, the newest entry in the franchise that will be releasing this summer.
I have a theory as to why are there are so many Books of the Dead.
Here is the information that we are aware of:
The books are all made out of human skin, and are inked in blood.
There are three books present in the old trilogy, and the other two from Evil Dead's Army of Darkness are present in Evil Dead (2013) and Evil Dead Rise.
And we are getting a new book in Evil Dead Burn.
All of the books have different abilities.
The first book in the original trilogy caused nothing but possession and death.
The second book featured demons who were ten times more aggressive than the ones in the old trilogy.
The third book gives the demons an extra new ability, where they are able to merge into one body, creating one powerful demon in the vessels they possess.
So why are there so many different books?
I have a crazy theory for this. I think the demons are planning a worldwide invasion. Whoever is in charge in Hell, whether it's the Devil or other higher up demons, they purposely created multiple books on Earth for their potential victims to find.
They are speeding up the process of collecting a lot of souls, so that the demons can continue to build up to their bigger plan.
They want to take over the Earth. They want to invade the planet, and continue their reign of terror.
If we ever get a film called Evil Dead Invasion in the near future, that will BLOW MY MIND.
Another theory I have is that every film takes place in a different multiverse.
This one is a bit on the nutty side, but this theory does come from fans. People believe that every film takes place in a different world, explaining why there are multiple books present in each film.
While I'm not a huge fan of this theory, I do find it interesting.
I still prefer the first one, with the demons wanting to take over the world, and if that is what the franchise is leading to, wow, I can't imagine how brutal it's going to be!
What is your theory on the Evil Dead books?
