My Prediction of Who Will Die in the Final Season of Stranger Things

Image
Credit to Stranger Things five, volume one review: The final series is 'thrilling' so far After watching the first part of the final season to Stranger Things, I think a lot of people are going to die. We kept getting teases of the main cast almost getting killed, but something tells me that there won't be any more of these close calls in the next two parts.  The chances of surviving are ten times lower than before, because Vecna is now back, with a whole damn army at his side.  This show continues to thrill and excite me, and now I'm prepared for some moments where I'm probably going to bawl my eyes out.  7. Robin Credit to Stranger Things Season 5 Will Be 'Basically, Eight Movies,' Says Maya Hawke - IGN As much as I love Robin's character to death, I think it makes sense for her character to die in the final season. She has been a huge help for the group so far, and they have been really focusing on her character a lot in the final season. She is a l...

Stranger Things Vol. 1 Ended with a Fantastic Twist

Image
Credit to Stranger Things: Will and Vecna Come FACE TO FACE in Season 5 Trailer The final season to Stranger Things is off to a promising start. The stakes are even higher this time around, and the characters are more than determined to take down Vecna once and for all. The Upside Down is even more of a threat now, with the military refusing to give up on their search for Eleven, knowing that monsters reside within this world.  Vecna is now kidnapping children, building up his own army, giving them their own powers. I believe that he is going to use these children to defeat Eleven, and two shocking allies that are now going to be added to her group.  Eleven had teamed up with Hopper to break into the military lab in the Upside Down, and instead of finding Vecna waiting for them, they found an old friend of Eleven’s that was introduced in season 2, who possesses the same powers that she does. Then we get another shocking ally, a great twist that has been building up for ...

I'm Hoping for a Lot of Deaths in the Final Season of Stranger Things

Image
Credit to  'Stranger Things' Season 5 review: New dangers and familiar plotlines : NPR I've already watched the first episode of the final season for Stranger Things, and so far, it's pretty promising. We are starting off really strong, and as crazy as this sounds, I'm hoping for a lot of deaths for the final season. In my opinion, if a TV show is known for killing off their characters, the writers should go all out and kill off a lot of characters for the final season.  I have noticed past TV shows like Game of Thrones, or The Walking Dead, that chose to not kill that many people in their final seasons. I'm not sure why the writers suddenly choose to take it easy for the final seasons, but I'm kind of getting tired of seeing the 'plot armor trope.' If the final season is reached, I think no mercy should be known to any character. It's free game at this point, and no one is safe.  We have gotten some brutal unexpected violence in the first epis...

Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark Features a Terrifying Ending for the Villains

Image
Credit to https://popculturereferences.com/the-indiana-jones-has-no-impact-on-the-plot-of-raiders-of-the-lost-ark-theory-is-dumb/ I have seen the original trilogy to the Indiana Jones franchise, and while I think all three are great in their own way, I think the first film has the darkest scene in the entire franchise. In the first entry, Indiana Jones takes on Nazi's, determined to retrieve the Lost Ark, that allegedly contains the ancient power of God, and whoever opens it, will pay the price. The Nazi's don't take the warning seriously, and through sheer will and determination, they get their wish during the third act of the film. They capture Indiana Jones and his love interest, Marion, and tie them both up to a pole. The Nazi's open the ark, and are met with one of the most brutal ways to die in a movie. Indiana immediately tells Marion to close her eyes, while everyone else around them is screaming in pure terror. The ark reveals a bunch of ancient spirits, who ...

The Thing with Feathers is Benedict Cumberbatch's First Horror Movie

Image
Credit to Landscape.mp4_00668aa2-c094–459f-a31c-b6176347da86_1730250177873 I have been a huge fan of Benedict Cumberbatch’s work for years. I have watched so much of his movies and TV shows, his acting is freaking phenomenal. My personal favorite would have to be his depiction of a modern Sherlock Holmes, and he was the perfect actor for this specific role. How he was able to play a character struggling to be a human was amazing.  And now, he is about to start in his first horror movie.  The Thing with Feathers is about a grieving father, who is struggling to raise his two sons after the death of his wife. We see him begin to spiral into madness, as he becomes haunted by an unknown entity, a crow monster that is the size of a human, that intends to ruin his life.  The movie has been compared to The Babadook online, but we are now following from the perspective of a father this time around. Even though I have been hearing some mixed reviews from the movie, I’m still...

5 Books That Deserve the Book of the Year Award

Image
Credit to ‹ The 10 Best Book Reviews of 2022 Book Marks I seriously have read some damn good books these past few months. I was not expecting to read masterpiece after masterpiece, these stories were some of the best I have read so far in 2025. I binge read every single book; the stories were so addictive to read this time around! It was almost like I was watching a movie in theaters, or bingeing a television series, the stories were that GREAT.  I definitely had exciting stories to read during the month of October, and I really enjoyed my spooky tales, including a random thriller novel that needs a movie ASAP! Picture of the five books I read. 5. Sister Butcher Sister by KD Aldyn  This is one of those psychological stories that feels so cutthroat and disturbing as you read the book. We follow the story of three sisters, who are now sort of divided after the little sister accuses a family member of harming her years later, ruining his reputation among his community....

I'm Still So Mixed on the New Return to Silent Hill Trailer

Image
Credit to Return to Silent Hill Exclusive International Poster Offers a Terrifying Glimpse of Pyramid Head and the Silent Hill 2 Adaptation — IGN I have recently watched the new trailer to one of my few anticipated horror films releasing in 2026, Return to Silent Hill. I am a huge fan of Silent Hill 2, which is the Silent Hill story that this movie is going to be based on. This game has been positively received for years, including through the remake of the game that was released last year.  The remake to the original game story was executed to perfection, and they were able to make the story their own, still being able to pull off the amazing story and the characters trapped in Silent Hill.  So why does the movie look so different from the original game adaptation? I have noticed way too many differences in this film, and I think they need to be discussed.  1. Every single character looks way too different from the game adaptation.  Credit to Return To Silent Hill W...

Is Alastor Secretly the Main Villain for Hazbin Hotel?

Image
Credit to  Steam Workshop::Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) After watching the finale to season 2 of Hazbin Hotel, I now believe that Alastor is slowly being built up to become the main villain in this show. He has once again proved how cunning and evil he is, and I can't believe how powerful Alastor is now after the finale. He tricked one of the most powerful sinners in Hell, the media overlord known as Vox, into capturing him and holding him hostage.  He makes a deal with Vox, that if he wants to own Alastor, he must never lay a hand on the main protagonist of the series, Charlie, the princess of Hell. Vox falls for his ploy, because Alastor knows that Vox runs on emotions and his insecurities to keep thriving in Hell. Alastor does this, so that he can find a way to break out of his own contract, keeping his true power at bay.  He finds a way to somehow break both contracts in a shocking twist, due to Vox's pride getting the better of him. It's next level insane that Alast...

Catherine is an Underrated Horror Game that Deserves a Huge Fan Base

Image
Credit to  Catherine Full Body Trophy List From Japanese Version - Marooners' Rock Catherine is one of those rare gems that really sticks with you after playing the game. The story is extremely well done for your typical dating game. In this world, you play as a random dude named Vincent, who is stuck in a relationship dilemma.  He has to choose between three different Catherines, who have all stolen in his heart in different ways.  While this does sound kind of annoying and hilarious at the same time, the story is so engaging when it comes to his love life. Vincent finds himself caught in a curse, for cheating on his current girlfriend, Catherine. Every time he dreams, he must navigate his way through a horrific journey, in order to wake up safe and sound the next morning. If he fails, he will perish, like many other men have before.  Even though I really enjoy playing the horror adventure nightmare sequences, I also love how we get to play the simple stuff t...

Commodus is One of the Most Sadistic Villains in Film History

Image
Credit to The Gladiator Emperor - by Sean - Classical Wisdom I have seen my fair share of villains in plenty of movies throughout the years. Many of them have stayed with me when it comes to their incredible personalities, and there are some that honestly scare the hell out of me.  Then there are those that make me so uncomfortable to think about.  One villain that bothered the hell out of me was Commodus, from the first Gladiator film. Even though it was obvious that he was going to be the villain of the film, I didn't know how it was going to happen. Once his motivations were revealed, he instantly became so terrifying to me. What's even more crazy, is that perhaps this change within his character could have been prevented.  Commodus was the son of the Emperor of Rome, but his title was going to be passed onto another man named Maximus, because he viewed him as the 'true man' for the ruler of Rome. Commodus got pissed off hearing this news, and he decided to act ...

As Above So Below is a Misunderstood Horror Film

Image
Credit to As Above, So Below (Movie Review) — Cryptic Rock As Above So Below is one of those few horror films that I can’t believe wasn’t viewed in a different light. The first time I had watched this film, I was amazed by how scary and original the story was.  This film had an awesome premise, and the found footage aspect was portrayed in a genius way that made so much sense. I don’t get why critics hated on this film so much. In my opinion, it’s one of the best found footage movies ever made in horror.  We follow the story of a young woman named Scarlett that is determined to reach a specific treasure in a cave known as the Flamel Philosopher’s Stone. She learns that the stone is located in the Catacombs of Paris, and she leads an expedition to the catacombs.  Unfortunately for the group, they have no idea that they are going to enter the nine realms of Hell.  Credit to Dante’s Inferno: Navigating the Complexities of Hell in ‘As Above, So Below’ [Netfli...
